PM Modi inaugurated AIIMS in Himachal Pradesh which was built at a cost of more than 1470Cr.

In Himachal Pradesh Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated AIIMS Bilaspur at Kohtipura and laid the foundation stone of projects over 3650 crores at Bilaspur. Prime Minister Narender Modi congratulated the people of Himachal for the newly built AIIMS at Bilaspur.

On his arrivalto the state, Prime Minister dedicated AIIMS Bilaspur at Kohtipura to the people of the state, built at a cost of more than 1470 crores. Spread over 247 acres, this AIIMS hospital will have state-of-the-art facilities.

Prime Minister also inaugurated Government Hydro Engineering College at Bandla, Bilaspur.

Apart from this Prime Minister laid the foundation stones of Medical Devices Park at Nalagarh and the Four-lane project from Pinjore to Nalagarh.

While addressing the huge gathering at Luhunu maidan in Bilaspur, he said that the people of Himachal got a double gift of education and health facilities on the occasion of Vijayadashami. He said that he would participate in the Divya Rath Yatra in Kullu today and seek blessings from the deities for all the countrymen. He further said that earlier Himachal was known for defense personnel and now after becoming AIIMS it will be known for its medical facilities.

He said that the foundation stone of Government Hydro Engineering College at Bandla would brighten the future of the youth of Himachal. Prime Minister said that the previous governments used to forget after laying foundation stones only at the time of elections, but the Modi government has taken the development of Himachal to new dimensions. He said that his government has ensured equitable development of every state and changed the long-standing distorted thinking in the country. The Prime Minister described the development works in Himachal as the power of the people’s vote.
